Protocols like Bluetooth keep data safe because you need a pair password to pair up with other peoples devices, and this is a password only you and the person know. Also, change your phone password every so often, and laptop password. Its important that you always check to see if your files are safe in a folder on your computer, try and make sure the folder is hidden somewhere so if someone accesses your computer they can't delete or read your private files. Lastly, make sure you keep your details safe like bank details, if you've typed them into a website, delete your history to prevent someone from finding them out. WiFi is kept safe by passwords. If you have WiFi at home, you can set a password on you WiFi, and make it as long as you want, to stop people from using your WiFi and using up your bill.
